Visual Neurolaryngology

45 min · min. 15 min

Visual diagnosis of laryngeal neurologic impairments — paralysis, paresis, synkinesis, dyskinesis, tremor, and reinnervation. Covers all muscles innervated by the Xth cranial nerve. Companion booklet available.

Lateral Cricoarytenoid Nerve Injury

30 min · min. 15 min

The most missed neurologic injury of the larynx. Covers visual techniques to identify recurrent laryngeal nerve injury — paresis, synkinesis, and dyskinesis — along with treatment options.

Secrets of Listening

45 min · min. 30 min

Hearing a voice disorder is the most valuable — and most underutilized — tool in laryngology. Participants listen to audio recordings and predict pathology before seeing the stroboscopy. Companion booklet available.

High Definition Laryngology

30–45 min · min. 15 min

Equipment and expertise for a precise diagnostic view — stroboscopic lighting, chip-on-tip endoscopes, HD cameras, selective color filters, and NBI. Practical techniques for any equipment level. Companion booklet available.

Nanomargin Tumor Surgery

20–30 min · min. 15 min

A new paradigm for small vocal cord tumor management. HD video recording, chip endoscopes, topical anesthesia, and ultrapulse CO₂ laser make nano-margin excision viable — with frequent close endoscopic follow-up as the true surgical margin.

Feminizing the Voice

30–60 min · min. 15 min

Five medical tools for voice feminization — cricothyroid approximation, feminization laryngoplasty, CO₂ laser tightening, vocal cord webbing, and speech therapy. Covers patient selection, outcomes, and the reality that no single approach is universally best. Companion booklet available.

AI Enhancement of Laryngeal Stroboscopy

15 min

Targeted AI can stabilize and enhance stroboscopy’s slow-motion effect, making vocal cord margin pathology substantially clearer. Reviewing enhanced videos with patients also improves understanding of proposed treatment.
